My bigfoot shawl
Since this is making a comeback over on the 'ville, I decided to post it here too. Enjoy!
I used RHSS in autumn/fall. Size I hook. Approx 25-30oz yarn.
1.) Chain 202. (I got this number by getting the chain long enough to go from one hand to the other over my shoulders, so feel free to change the number of chains.)
2.) HDC in 3rd ch fr hk & in each ch across. ch 1, turn
3.) HDC dec* in first 2 sts. Hdc in each ch across to last 2 sts, hdc dec in these sts.
Repeat row 3 until it comes to a point.
HDC DEC: yo, insert hk in st, pull up a loop, yo insert hook in next st, pull up a loop. (5 loops on hook) yo & pull thru all 5 lps on hk.
This is a very comfortable shawl. I am able to wrap up in it nicely. The point comes down to the back of my knees (I'm 5'4). This is my first attempt at trying to write down what I've made so I hope that I did it right! I hope you try it, Enjoy!

Quilts
After reading a fellow 'villers post about finding an old sewing machine, I got inspired to dig out mine. Mind you, if it ain't square, I ain't sewing it! Needless to say, I'm a much better crocheter than seamstress. I did however, make 2 quilts for my 2 favorite nephews Dylan and JR. Dylan's is the dinosaur one and JR's is the Eagles one. That one killed me as I am a Dallas Cowboys fan, much to my hubby's chagrin! Anywho, they loved them. Especially Dylan who proceeded to become a raptor on the prowl. lol.

Wedding Ring Afghan DONE!
I finally finished it! It was a pain in the biscuits but it's done. Sewing it together was the easy part. Having to weave in all the ends that I left hanging, worse than long division! lol. I gave it to the intended couple the other day and they were quite tickled. I'm glad it's now out of my to-do pile. Here are a few pics, sorry they are not that bright but you get the gist.

I resolve to...
finish up some old projects. After having a ton of them fall down on me, I realize I need to get cracking! First up is the wedding ring afghan from red heart. The couple it was intended for have been married for about 10 months now. So if I can get it done, it will be an early anniversary present. All of the pieces are there, I just need to sew them together. Oh what fun this shall be!
